You worry me! Reminds me of an old work friend who said he looked forward to fridays so he could go home and pick at that bit of loose lino under the kitchen sink! Thats what a lifetime at Marconi did for you!

I like how in the Monsoon the inside of my speedo fogs up completely. Can't see a thing but it gives off a very subdued, warm glow when the instrument lights are on.
I also love starting it with the crank handle for the kids across the road, funniest thing they've ever seen it seems.

What does it for me is washing and polishing the sensual curves of the front wings.
Is it just me or do I have a hang up ?

The way they sound - espcecially the fart!

The way they smell - someone should market "old car smell" air-fresheners!

The simplicity - one dial, two dash switches, one column stalk - job done!

Oh, and plus all the above comments (apart from the rust  )

:D :D
Some people are like slinkies - they serve no useful purpose, but they still bring a smile to your face when you throw them downstairs.

the idiosyncrasies about the car which make it so interesting to drive.

its RWD!!

if it breaks down on the side of the road, theres one thing it can be - the points and condenser.

being able to crank start it when its got a flat battery

I've only owned my for a few weeks and haven't even riden in it yet but it must be the curves of it. The huge bump on the bonnet and the, may I say, curvy bum . They just ooze character and stand out. :D

On my Series II its the trafficators, the tiny windscreen wipers and that little leather strap that stops the rear seat folding down. How simple is that!

All the space in the engine bay - makes you confident enough to get in and have a go!
