Come on Kevin - it's been discussed over and over again - it WORKS!
So `you say` Roy but as in all the previous discusssions including replies from those that know their hydraulics virtually everybody disagrees, if it was that simple how come its not mentioned in technical tips or recommended by a single trader and when all said and done the dampers were designed to use a specific oil for a reason.
I just feel that giving out suspect advice (I have never seen any researched published data agreeing with you, if you have some I would be most interested) is not a good thing with suspension and as you like to quote things from times past the upgrades many many years ago were heavy duty dampers but they have not been around for a long long time.
And when it comes to items involving the safe running of our cars I personally won't settle for a back street solution.
