Just a note on the numberplate...
I am a sales rep, i drive sedatly in my 54 plate mondeo and i get pulled in wiltshire...
the copper gets out his tape measure and.....wait for it.....gives me a producer and a demand for new number-plates because the width of my letters were 9mm across and not the standard 14mm size for that age of vehicle......

how anal......

my numberplate was normal font but yes, smaller letters because i wanted it that way.

i do think that Wiltshire is pretty bad as I have had 24 years of driving with a clean licence until I got a job in Swindon, 6 points on my licence now and the number plate issue!!!

Back in Gloucestershire now ad alls well (ish) lol
ok, rant over.
lol

Hey Rod, I thought you were emigrating? Do you still have the car or did it get sold?

Hello mate. Plan hasnt changed but been having hassle selling the house. Hope to be gone before november!
Same problem with car seems no one has spare money at the moment. May have to leave it behind with a friend to sell.
Hows the custom work going?

Well as you might have seen I have been busy widening some wheels. Now I have to fit new floor and inner sills due to screen seals leaking. have done bonnet and fitted it to car now. But it still needs flatting back and cutting up.

Yep seen the wheels they look great.
Did you pancake the bonnet or radius the corners or both?

Well to be honest I filled it with filler. Have a spare bonnet that I will have a go at "pancaking" may also get some louvres put in sides. Depending on costs and availability of finding someone to do it. Didn't bother radiusing corners as I prefer the front panel to be removable. Will try take a picture this weekend.

Here are the pictures of bonnet. It needs flatting and buffing up yet.

I am already thinking about it. Want subtle changes . So people will look at the car and think, "something is missing, but what".
