I had a similar swerving problem-discovered one brake shoe way out of adjustment-thought i'd sorted it easily, but it came back again. On second inspection, one of the adjusters was worn and kept slipping back. Just thought I'd mention it in case your problem re-emerges! (hope it doesn't!)
