Can you not run it up some sturdy planks into the van ? You said the runway was on a slope - so into the van may be just about level! If the vehicle is being 'used' on the highway then it must be legal with MOT tax and insurance. Q then is - what's a vehicle? A Van with no engine/box/seats and maybe no steering wheel cannot be 'used' as such - I would argue with number plates removed - and a rigid tow (but not a rope!) with a proper trailer board on the rear - it would be a trailer, and as such needs have nothing - it's just like a caravan. The A frame things are not really legal these days either - even for fully taxed etc vehicles although they are allowed for breakdown recovery use only. A two wheel lift is fine - the vehicle is definitely not being 'used' then - apparently.
Van and planks looks like the way to go.
