Can you hear the sub properly even though its in the boot??

If it's a true 'sub', it's not so much hearing as feeling it. Bass frequencies are less directional then treble ones, and travel through obstacles much better as well

Believe me - you can hear that sub woofing all the way down the road! Lucky all our neighbours are deaf!

Can’t see the point of going to them lengths when you can buy an FM transmitter to plug into your MP3 player/ ipod for £2-£3 and just listen to your sounds on your standard FM radio. You can then take it into another car and just tune that radio into your MP3/I,pod.
