I can see progress on every update. I am excited to see how you will bring life to this classic car.

Re: 1968 Police Morris Minor
Are you sure you had the right nuts? Originally Minors had a course thread (BSF) on the rear pins and a fine thread (UNF) on those front pins. Confusing - and easy to muddle up

Right back on this car now, shame not a local morris person near by to help with wiring this baby.
Re: 1968 Police Morris Minor
Still on this as and when I can find funds to get new parts, so much missing from when it went off for welding and still needs more welding as it never got done, and the paint job that was also done is now flaking off
Re: 1968 Police Morris Minor
Hi all i'm back on this but very slow progress as missing parts
Re: 1968 Police Morris Minor
Hi all I'm still working on this sadly on my drive still, due to lack of work and life things have slowed up this rebuild plus age lol.
Re: 1968 Police Morris Minor
Started the front brakes, I did wonder why i could not tighten up the hub, seems i had left part of my old inner bearing on the shaft, what a doughnut.

Good to see things moving again. This all looks very familiar territory having done it all on my car recently.

Yes It's taking time as money is tight and it's kept on a drive so can only work when not raining, Currently stuck trying to put the boot lid on as i can't get it to shut and need to source new bolts for the hinges as mine had rusted or have fallen out.
