Looks lovely, and Austin badged, but if you want to see the best proper Austin pickup ever, check out the A30/35. Like rocking horse poo now, enthusiasts are importing restoration projects from South America!

Cute and quirky but I suppose impractical as a working vehicle... no drop-down tail-board. Perhaps not surprising so few made but I'd still have one if I could!

You can't see it well but if you magnify the Uttlesford outing pics it does have a drop down tail board with Austin logo across it and a superb canvas cover.

Spotted in this film about development in the 1960's in Cambridge . Parked Morris Minor convertible UER280 (Cambridge Registration) and many more Saloons Travellers and LCV's. Shows just how widespread the Minor was

They built a damn great car park and wondered why there were too many cars !!!! Now it is so expensive to park there for the day, everyone gets the bus. The centre is rather nice now except for all the s**ding tourists !

Not a Moggie but a competitor in its day... a Standard Pennant in two-tone grey and blue. Seen on Kidderminster ring-road making good headway. Reg. No. WLT*** was unusual as most of that batch (encapsulating WLT301 to WLT999) was allocated to London Transport who used them all on Routemaster buses delivered during 1960/61.

Clearly not many Moggies around Kidderminster but ring-road provides frequent sightings of other rarities. This morning's offering was VPJ***M a white Vanden Plas Princess 1300 looking very nice.

Did you stop ? Seen today on an episode of the Persuaders - (mid 1970's), a light blue 2 door and an ex post office (red) van. in Brighton near the railway station.

Spotted on Saturday, about 30 minors at David Manners Group open day. Good company, friendly helpful staff excellent coffee and a band. Weather rotten tho.
