I originally hand painted them with smooth silver and they looked great! But I can't be done with so much rubbing down and may just do use the spray as you suggested.

:o , too much ££££££, I did enquire about that at the local powder coating / blasting place but they wanted £30 a wheel, thats almost a hundred quid, plus i'd have to get the tyres removed, then put back on and rebalanced.

Well I invested in a can of hammerite smooth silver and the colours just right, unlike 5 wheel silver, far too shiny. I forgot what a pain hammerite is to spray, the nozzle is constantly blocking up....have to keep a pin and thinners to hand.
