Hi,
Rosie's speedo cable has snapped, a replacement is on the way. Is it as simple a replacement as it looks or is there anything fiddly I should know about?
Thanks
Philip

Yes, it is a straightforward job provided that you know that to release the
speedometer you have to loosen(not remove) the two Phillips headed screws
which are accessible via the holes in the side walls of the glove boxes? Don't
forget to fit the rubber grommet on to the new cable first.

A tip to make the threading through the bulkhead easier: -
When you pull the old cable through, splice a piece of electrical wire to it first, so that you can then pull it back through with the new cable attached. Saves groping in tight places in the dark... unless of course you enjoy that sort of thing
