Thanks RR - wife has an Olympus 310 bought very cheaply in Tenerife last year - must try the close up stuff with it. Dunno if it has macro set-up, no instructions with it!

I set the timing a 3 or 4 degrees of advance static timing.
No sign of any pinking, but there again I use real 4 star leaded fuel.
Now feels great at 70 mph engine noise is nice and low. Sounds lovely at tickover.
I hope it stays this way! :D :P :)
