Anti roll bar rubber bushes?

Post by twinkle »

Hello gang -Twinkle and Bill back again with a question concerning my or should i say Twinkles anti roll bar, This was fitted a few years ago and proved to be a great upgrade-but time has taken its toll on the rubber bushes that fit at the rear sides of the torsion bars. I purchased the kit from Grumpys and as we know Mr Green has ceased trading , Does any one run with this kit fitted and if so have you had any reason to fit new bushes and if possible were did you purchase them from--would be great to hear from anyone concerning this querie--I think that Willie fitted the roll bar kit to his car -if so and you read my post how have you found the kit?-regards Bill and Twinkle the Traveller.

the rubbers from the rear leaf springs will fit i think, that what i used when my rubbers went , was from a van though.

Now that is useful info as my Mr Grumpys' roll bar has also worn out
the rearmost rubber bushes. They certainly look similar to the rear
spring shackle bushes and that makes me wonder if it will be a good
upgrade to replace them with the modern polyurathene type?? I have
had the plastic type in the shackles for a few years and they seem
to be doing an excellent job.
