I suspect that it is less the process, although repeatedly sticking a syringe into a rubber component which may well be designed to contain oil pr grease seems counter intuitive, but the quality of the material used.

What always horrifies me about these Asian factories is the total lack of health and safety concern.
Working in all kinds of environments in open toed sandals.
No eye protection.
And no comeback if you are hurt.
