If you look on amazon UK the reviews for this product are very mixed. A lot of them claim it only gives a temporary improvement.
It's not a brand that has a lot of exposure, unlike Molyslip , Wynns, Stp etc so I am a bit sceptical. However for £15 or so, if it keeps your car running until you can properly correct the problem, it might be worth a punt.

Some years ago I used this stuff on a worn V8 with some success

Did indeed stop smoke, increase compression and quieten the engine until I found the time to rebuild it. About 6 months and 2000 miles. I’d use it again if I needed to.
