Whenever I apply the brakes to stop the car I get a clonk noise from the front passenger hub area.
It happens whether reversing or driving normally - although its more evident when reversing out of my drive, and stopping at the bottom.
Is it just a dodgy bush somewhere?

RE: Front
It is usually suspension bushes (including the eyebolt, tie bar, top trunnion etc..)
but could be something more sinister like loose backplate, dodgy hub etc..
It can also be fairly unrelated (exhaust coming close to bodywork etc..

I've had one of those!
Those nice guys at ESM finally sorted it - turned out to be the "pivot pin" that goes through the eyebolt had a couple of flats worn on it......
I think it's one of those slow jobs - take everything apart and check for condition until you find it.....
Then, order up the new bit(s) and re-assemble....
Good luck,
Colin
