Re: Pulley for C40 Dynamo
I looked for one of these a while ago and for such a common part (back in the day) they are surprisingly difficult to find. I suspect they are thrown away still attached to the dynamo when people "upgrade" to an alternator.
Do you need both the fan and the pulley? One option is to find a cheap, second-hand dynamo with the fan and pulley still attached. The pulley can be very stubborn to remove but it will come off with a 3-legged bearing puller (but make sure the puller legs are behind the pulley not in the pulley or you will tear it apart). Then you have a dynamo to rebuild as a spare as well.
PS I tried a modern solid dynamo pulley and it was not a success as it did not line up properly with the other pulleys so you are right to look for an original.
I have at least 4 spare dynamos but only one spare pulley so I can't help on this occasion.
Last time I was at Morris Minor workshop they had a pile of dynamos with pulleys attached waiting to be harvested for spares or rebuilt. I see ESM are out of stock of the pulleys, probably because they are in that rusty pile!

Re: Pulley for C40 Dynamo
See the thread 1098 sump gasket set in for sale. Chap is selling the original dynamo, maybe with fan and pulley.
