Minor 1000 door check not holding
Save me searching 107 pages (got to 20 then eyes gave up! - search engine could not find anything) The doors will not stay open on the check bars - interiors seem to be very loose

Re: Minor 1000 door check not holding
Are they supposed to keep the doors open?
Or just a rubber buffer to stop them opening too far.

Bill has summed their purpose up well. They do not hold the door open but just stop it opening too far

The door check straps are fitted just to stop/check the door from opening too far.
That is why they are called 'check straps'.
They are not designed to keep the door open.
