Are BGA (BG Automotive) cylinder head gaskets any good?
Any better options?
Thanks

Re: Cylinder head gasket
If your engine is a small block engine (up to 1098cc) the gasket in the link below is good.

Mini Spares also do a similar gasket for large block engines (1275cc).

Re: Cylinder head gasket
As Phil recommends. The Minispares gasket is excellent. The quality is obvious when comparing to the ESM equivalent.

Re: Cylinder head gasket
What about the Victoria Reinz gasket? also sold by Minispares.
Too many choices!!

Re: Cylinder head gasket
I’ve used the Victor Reinz and the BK540 on the Midget 1275 but the Minispares own copper gasket seems best developed and worked well for me.
There are indeed too many options and I’m sure that on various forums you will find people who prefer each one. The Reinz and BK540 take more cleaning when it comes to replacing them. I got through both in less than 1000 miles. The Minispares has done almost 8k miles and is holding up well at the moment.
