My restoration has a long way to go but I have been trying to ensure that the electrics are functioning in case any hard to get at items can be sorted while easy to get at.
Several items worked 2 days ago and now don't I had hoped that some 'bright spark' would come up with a single fault explanation.
Windscreen wiper, flashers and heater fan suddenly don't work. I checked the 2 fuses but they seem ok. Any ideas please?
AHHHHH!! just come across a very nifty coloured wiring diagram posted by (my friend for life) Brian Hawley. This clearly suggests that all those items are on one circuit protected by the RH fuse? Possibly the fuse I checked was simply not making contact. I will check this again.
I will still appreciate any response but kept my post live as a thanks to you all who have helped me so far and my new chum Brian !!
Thanks

Those circuits are ignition switched along with fuel gauge and brake lights. Use a multimeter to check power on both ends of the fuse. Sometimes it is just a poor contact on the fuse, so use some emery paper to clean the clips on the fuse holder and the end caps on the fuse. The meter can also check continuity of the fuse. If there is no power into the fuse then it could be a faulty ignition switch.
