Drivers side door handle

Hi I have 1957 four door saloon the drivers side handle had broken in that it won’t open. At moment the car is in garage having had mot and service. They are repairing the handle. I have tried to source a handle with esm but they are out of stock. The garage tells me a pin type part has broken and they are fixing it. Has anybody got any advice photo of door handle, repairs to, or a door handle that will fit for sale. Many thanks
