Presume commenced at 101(?) - although cab/body nos of 1959 GPO rebooted at 51, whether a link to start of Brum production, who knows?

In case you're not aware... there are a few meanings of 'Avatar'..... Option 3 is probably the most commonly used these days...

1. Hinduism - a god appearing on earth in bodily form; incarnation of a god
2. any incarnation or embodiment, as of a quality or concept in a person
3. an icon or other graphic image that represents a computer user, as in a chatroom or videogame

Other clubs, The MG F/TF register are one example, provide certificates on build dates spec of car etc in certificate format when you join.
I wonder if the MMOC could do something similar.

Unfortunately no. The factory records are not held by the MMOC, they are at Gaydon. As noted by others, the records are handwritten ledgers so the only way to get the information is to go to Gaydon and read those books. The cost of travelling there for every new member would be prohibitive.

I was thinking of a club representative visiting Gaydon to transfer said documentation as part of the membership, then a certificate could be supplied to said member, this I think is how for instance how the MG F and TF register do it, the cost is included in their membership fee.
A longish process but probably worthwhile for a small fee for the members and club.
I dont mean of course someone visiting on an individual request basis, I was thinking more of accessing numbers of cars details per trip.

That approach works well for smaller sets of data. For Minors, the factory records are large ledgers with one line for each car. The line streches acrioss two pages, spanning the spine of the ledger. There are multiple columns (eg chassis number, car number, geariox number, body colour, etc), and they are all hand written. Approximately 1.5 million lines to transcibe and double check - it's easy to make errors.

The Club having the records is a lovelty idea, but it's just not going to happen on the basis of someone visiting to do a batch now and then. Realisticially, it's far better to support the museum. Nothing is impossible, and in the future, tchnology may come to our aid, but I'm sure that if it was easy, then Gaydon would have digitised the ledgers by now.
