I’ve managed to partly remove a roof lining from a 68 saloon, but struggling to release from the front of the car.
Can anyone advise please?
Pictures below. I’ve removed the flat clips from the holes shown below and can see a tensioner wire, but cannot figure out what’s holding it.

The ends of the Tensioner Wires are up in the corners where the Glovebox liners are . Basically just wound around a screw and tightened up.

Before pulling the wires out, attach some string to the end of the wire so yo can reattach the string to the new wire when refitting the headlining. The wire can be pulled through the front pillars and reattached via the screws.
