transportation of chassis

Post by Yoyo »

hi everyone ,
second time posting (hope I got it right this time !)
I'm in the process of buying a newly fabricated chassis for my pick up from Alex Wills and am looking for a safe , cost effective way of transporting it from Dorset to Newlyn, Cornwall .
Any ideas greatly appreciated . Thanks

When I bought a chassis from the excellent Alex, he was very helpful in searching for a batch of purchasers who lived in the same direction from him; the idea was that the purchasers could club together and make a bulk collection/delivery plan.
In the event he delivered it himself (his young daughter embarrassed me mightily by insisting on carrying it with Alex because I was obviously too old to carry things) as he was coming my way on another matter.
