Another Nut Fiddling with PCV set up
I've started trying to convert my 1969 convertible to the PCV breather set up, finally found a good unit with the 'fingers', but I just read an article that stated that the restrictor diameters are fairly crucial...5/32 breather in the filler cap, elbow restrictor on the tappet chest cover, unknown diameter restrictor on the inlet manifold. It hadn't occurred to me this might be important and was going to use a standard mini 'tin can' tappet cover breather and a carb spacer with built in manifold connector for a brake servo. This latter part might be problematical because this might expose the crankcase to too high a vacuum - anybody else got it working with this set up? I've also got a spacer with a I think 1/16" restrictor. Better option?
