Log off
Despite ticking what I think are the right boxes, I now have to log in at each visit, plus the strip at the top of the page containing the site name is now black in colour. Any clues please. Why do these things suddenly change ? When I leave this board now, then click mmoc from home page again to then click on ‘new posts’ I will have to again log on.
Re: Log off
Les, we have not changed the branding, it is still a blue strip.
Default behaviour has always been to login at each visit, that's how the system knows which posts are new since your last visit. It is also important for general security. You should be able to come to the board, go to the WWW site briefly and return to the board OK, but if your session is idle for too long, then it will log off, again for security.
If you have any specific problems then could you please grab a screenshot and email to me. Thanks.

Re: Log off
The Strip that has turned black seems to be a part of your Browser, rather than the website.
Have you tried a different browser, or is that the default one of your device?
You seem to have an inordinate amount of notifications, have you checked there's nothing there that's messing with it?

Default browser, notifications dealt with. I’ll just have to go through the logging on process each time for some unknown reason.

Re: Log off
Using Samsung browser and working ok staying logged in.
Les have you tried clearing your cache?
Or could it be having it open on multiple pages, have you tried closing all bar one?

Re: Log off
I now have to log in pretty well every time I visit the Forum as well. This started about a week or so ago. Prior to that it seemed to be only once a day. I'm running Google Chrome.

Re: Log off
Try putting the web address direct into a browser not via google and save it as a favourite, then you can not use google or its hassle

Re: Log off
Well I'm a Firefox user, when I log in I tick the 'remember me' boxes and unless the Firefox does an update, or I run C-Cleaner, then it usually stays logged in despite moving back and forth, or even opens up logged in when I restart every morning....
So I log in about once every 3-5 days.

Re: Log off
On some browsers, a black address bar mans that you have "gone private" or "incognito". In such sessions, the browser will NOT remember that you are logged in. See if you have switched to private by default, and if yes, revert to public.
