Engine identification
Hi, I've recently purchased a Traveller, reg LNK 318H and was wondering if anyone has any info they can share about this vehicle please. In particular, to help me identify the engine, number 12V EH 390681. I'm having trouble working out if it's a 1275cc Morris Marina or Ital engine, so I know what parts it requires for a routine service. Thanks, Lara

Re: Engine identification
The major difference between the 1275cc Morris Marina (pre 'A' Plus) engine and the 1275cc Morris Ital engine ('A' Plus) is the 'A' Plus engine has the additional ribbing on the block.
As regards parts for a routine service i.e. oil filter, oil, spark plugs, air filter the parts are the same for both Marina and Ital. You may find the contact points are different but any good motor factor should be able to supply the correct parts required.
