As regards the ESM lower bump stop holes misalignment.
The misalignment is nothing new - even the genuine BMC items had to be reworked to suit.
I have just replaced the lower bump stops on my Minor which were supplied by ESM and both had to be reworked so as to align the mounting holes.
The rubber pads were still in place and in good condition but I needed to modify the lower bump stop to restrict the downward movement of the damper arm so as to eliminate any contact between the SPAX gas damper body and the top trunnion.
