Congratulation to our Classic Car Show Organiser Chris Akrill and our Young Members Register for their superb stand at the Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show art the NEC last weekend.
The judges were impressed by the engagement that the YM had with the spectators, and this resulted in the award for the Best Live Working Stand at the show. At the Awards Ceremony, it was noted that tasks such as swapping a door and rebuilding the front suspension were being completed on cars that had to be driven home on Sunday evening.
The stand design and finish were excellent, the hospitality magnificent, and the the shop brilliant. A great effort from the whole team, so thanks to everyone who made it happen and congratulations again to our worthy winners in their matching overalls - replicas available to order from the Club's Merchandise Manager.
