It seriously does not get any better than this. It was love at first photo and now she is mine. A 101 year old Morris that has not been started in 55 years. Pure heaven.

So now I have two projects on the go. This and the 61 ute. Cost on this rebuild will be high especially with most of the timber work being redone in Tas Oak. Updates will be posted as it happens but right now not much to see as I'm taking millions of photos and documenting everything before I start the rebuild. Also researching as much as I can as this vehicle has seen some history.

Originally purchased to deliver groceries in northern South australia. It served its owner well until 1970 or so. Owned by the same family the whole time and it still has original sign writing on the chassis from this time. It was then sold to someone else who wanted to restore it instead it sat in his shed for 15 years untouched. Then in approximately 1985 a guy who runs Classic Adelaide Car Restorations purchased it, however again with to many projects the T Type sat for another 40 years untouched. he turned the crank handle over a few times so the engine is free, can find all the gears, brakes are free however the back wheels just won't rotate hence the way we got it on and off the transport truck. That is where we begin.

Lots more photos and videos are available so please let me know if you want to see more. Parts had to be removed for transport so they wouldn't blow away I did try and get an enclosed transport but cost was huge

I've commented on this on the Morris Commercial Facebook ;)

'24 is the first year of Morris Commercials and they have a few features which were dropped pretty quickly (wheel stud size increased for example).

I've been doing a lot to my 1928 LT Van over the winter :)
