Been listed a few times now. Doesn't seem to have been much interest in them so far. A good deal if you need quite a few panels.

I'm surprised one of the major restoration companies haven't gone for this but they may have large stocks of their own already. I would certainly be interested in 2 better condition doors than I currently have and various other bits but I don't want the job lot.

Looks like many multiples, so only viable purchase as a business, rather than an individual.

I'm guessing these are ex King street motor services (morris minor centre west malling kent) which many many years ago was the minor centre at stormont in woolwich, wow im old to remember that......

I know Andrew shut up shop last year and the business is now just working on modern vehicles, so that would all make sense,

Northfleet is not far from me so if anyone wanted to purchase it I could pallet it up for a courier to collect form me, if that helps, but as already said theres a lot of panels there,

As the years go by genuine good second-hand parts are getting more scarce. It is surprising sometimes how difficult it is to find certain parts. For example, 1275 engines were being given away or dumped 30 years ago but now they are very expensive even in a seized condition. I rue the fact that I didn't accept the offer 30 years ago (for free) of a 1275 but instead took 2x 1098s!. We need to try to future proof our supply of parts. I for one fully intend to carry on driving my Morris for at least the next 30 years or more. My great-uncle Liam is 103 and was driving until he was 99! My great-uncle George similarly, was driving his Mini well into his 90's.

I wonder would the club be interested in these parts?

Should one of us e-mail Bryan Gostling?

Well, it appears that Bryan has seen the listing but is now concentrating on unique items for MM & SII models, so only buying other items if it is original, not available from ESM, or a bargain, as the MMOC has no-one prepared to take over the 1000 spares..... :-(

Hmm. I wonder whether one of the big MMOC branches might take on these spares in the interim? Some branches are very small but others have large numbers of members.

Also this listing of loads of doors, bonnets and wheels in North London which they are saying they will send to scrap (which would be tragic)..........

The North London listing is what used to be Minor Mania / GDK garage in mill hill, they had the 6 wheel Minor pickup some may remember,
George retired years ago and went back to Cyprus and now Nic has retired the business has moved on to only work on modern vehicles,

Less and less Minor based companies out there now.

Thanks for the info. It seems they just want it all gone asap. It would be a hassle and take too long for them to sell the parts individually I suppose. I have sent a message saying I'd be happy to turn up and buy 2x doors, a bonnet, a boot lid and maybe some interior bits too. I could hire a van for the day for about £50.

This job lot has sadly now been scrapped. Someone on the Facebook group messaged the seller offering to buy all of it but was told that it has been scrapped. Some of it was purchased apparently.

I can only think that there must be so many parts around that they aren't worth that much to anyone. Or maybe that nearly all the Moggys in the world have already been restored/repaired and the rest haven't been found yet?

Probably a lack of storage space for most individuals. Surprised somewhere like ESM didn't grab 'em.....

Lack of storage space and the fact that it would take a long time to sell the parts bit by bit. I did consider for a moment buying the lot but I have nowhere to store it all.

Complete door skins are no longer made so if a door needs more than the bottom repair panels (which are still available) then really the best option is a better condition door. I actually need 2x doors so this listing really interested me.
