Bangers and Cash MGC

Anyone else see the B&C restoring episode where they get the MGOC to recommission a 5.000 mile MGC. And like wonder how me how/what cost them >£7000!?. They only seem to replace consumables and a new fuel tank. As an ex MGB owner its was interested however to see how different the front end is though.

I saw the beginning of the programme but lost interest halfway through.
Torsion bar front suspension on the MGC whereas the MGB has coil springs.
Unfortunately £7000 does not go very far these days.
