Currently the tyres on my traveller are the Toyo ones from esm - 155/80 R14 - noticed they are showing signs of cracking in the tread - not used car much these past two years. Want to get a set of replacements but not in stock. Could get Nankeng replacements ( NA1 155/80 R14T 81)
However I noticed many suggest buying from Blockley tyres and they seem to recommend 145/80 R14 as more appropriate. I’d be interested in views and experience of either especially the change back to 145 width. Also I’m assuming the latter are tubeless.

Are your rims standard or wider van rims?
145 is correct size for standard rim

Not only are there lots of discussions about tyre recommendations, but also some useful information dispelling myths of Minors and should the tyres be tubed or not...
