Absolutely, I know what you mean! It’s always tempting to keep adding upgrades, but sometimes less is more. I’ve found that taking a step back and enjoying the car as it is can really help decide when to stop.

Also what is the technical name for the area highlighted yellow does this form part of the rear seat cover, and with a 2 door convertible is there replacement rear door panels?

I only just saw this. Yes you can buy rear quarter panels. The area in the yellow circle is the "rear wheel arch covering".

Most glues won't stick directly to vynil. It's a special type.
It melts it.
If it is cloth backed it might.
Either way put staples on the back, when the glue fails as usual it will stay on.
Even quality double sided tape is better than ordinary glue.
