Try not to come over all Colonel Blimp.

None of these seem to be a real car but still in some AI / CAD stage of design.

None actually move and the electric engine and interior are never shown.

Various styles are mooted but this is (hopefully) a pipe dream as most of them are truly hideous and bear as much relation to a Morris Minor as Liz Truss does to reality.

You will wake up soon and realise it has all been a horrible nightmare.

I was hoping that they were never going to do it.

There is already a big morris minor....it's called a morris Oxford.

Sir Alec must be rolling in his grave; first the mini...and now this!

AI generated gimmick, all goes wrong at around 1:10, look at the background, that’s an 8 door minor and then a white one with the bonnet flash on the wing and a oddly positioned front wheel.

It has always been a mystery to me why the Minor has not been reintroduced.
The European public reaction to Nissans Figaro is proof if any were needed that retro has a large market following.
The small Fiats are doing very nicely in that market segment.
These AI videos however are to use the marque as a halo to shine light on, in this case, the Chinese range of MG's.
The design cues are impossible now, chrome bumpers meet no modern crash specifications, bonnet mounted chrome badges are considered dangerous to pedestrians etc.etc.
As for pricing, I recall a prototype MG sportscar being hyped as recently as two years ago at £30,000.00
The cyberster, released this year, actually retails at £45-50k
The mistake MG are making is not placing a factory in the UK to build a small 2 seater sports car for predominantly the U.S. market, the biggest market currently.
Of course managing a communist run company on foreign soil is not as easy as it may appear on paper, but politically it would do Xi and his cohorts the power of good.

The designs feel more like a modern gimmick than a true tribute to the original Morris Minor. It’s hard to see the charm of the original cars in these concepts, and with all the AI and CAD work, who knows if it’ll even make it to production. Sometimes, it's best to leave a classic untouched rather than try to reinvent it in ways that just don't capture its spirit.
