So you’re looking for a split screen car without original engine. A heavily modified split screen. This is not the way now. Those that do exist that were “buggered up” are now being put right again. You may be waiting forever

There are plenty of Morris 1000 cars with the wrong engine (1275) for you to choose from . Most of them will have the incorrect negative earth travesty as well. Fill your boots. You’ll probably even get an alternator

A lot of splitties have had bigger engines fitted, mine included - I upgraded to a 948cc engine as the original was a bit 'tired' anyway and it has made all the difference in that driving is now a pleasure rather than a bit of a grind. I wouldn't call that 'heavily modified' as long as its done respectfully to ensure the interior is kept original. That is easier with an 803cc to 948cc upgrade than with the bigger engines.
My advice would be to continue to search all the sites with Minors for Sale - there are quite a few of them - and something suitable will come up. This site is very limited as to what is for sale at any given moment, so check out all the 'for sale' sites.
It all depends what you are looking for. Worse than fitting alternators IMO is destroying the harmonious symmetry of the dashboard by cutting holes in it in order to fit various dials and gadgets. Such things can be fitted on a bracket under the dash if you can't live without them

Caveat Emptor applies here, I would think. Several discrepancies in the description details, the car has only ever had one MoT (in 2006, nothing since) and the lister claims to be a private seller and yet the description is written in typical 'traderese', such as 'good little runner' plus part-exchange is invited. Hmm.
