Re: Annual Insurance Fun.
Dang, that's a frustrating situation, dude! Dealing with insurance companies can be a total headache sometimes. It sounds like you've been through the ringer trying to find a better deal. My advice would be to not settle for crazy high prices or pushy sales tactics. Keep shopping around, maybe consider talking to a broker who can help you navigate the options. And hey, maybe it's time to switch things up after 50 years with the same company – loyalty is cool, but saving some cash is even cooler. Good luck, man!

Re: Annual Insurance Fun.
Further to my previous post, I have now received a reply from the club, which says that the Club is, indeed, aware of the issues surrounding insurance, and is actively working with insurers to ensure a resolution to ensure that "the Minor will continue to be a practical and usable car."
As you can all imagine, it is not clear how long this process may take but, should anyone on here experience similar problems to those highlighted in this and previous threads, please post up here as further evidence of the problems, and do contact the club as well if you are a member.
Thank you,
Pete

As I’d posted previously, Carole Nash declined to renew me after 10 years of no claims and no changes. It took hours to drag out of them that ANY mod was now unacceptable. Eg radials, seat belts, screen washer!
They could find one insurer, but didn’t think the £11,000 quote was worth presenting to me.
They then bombarded me with emails hoping I would consider them at next renewal.
So if the Club is looking into insurers can they add Carole Nash to this exercise!
PS Another thread suspects that the poster “MidnightMechanic” is an AI bot, generating drivel. Maybe the mods can check out this Newbie before this forum becomes cluttered and unuseable

Hello Mike,
That is utterly mad. The MMOC is aware of this thread, but not sure if they are actively monitoring it. If you want to be sure they are appraised of your extraordinary dealings with Carole Nash, I suggest you email them. Good luck.
