SPX 659F- anyone know the car

Hi,

I have had SPX 659F for a few months now and nearly have it back on the road. Its a Trafalgar blue 2 door saloon, fairly standard as far as I can see other than the wheels which have been painted blue, and a home made dash panel with some dials, lights and buttons.

Has anyone here owned or known the car at any point? It would be great to find out some of its history.

It has been in Northamptonshire recently, but was first registered in Sussex where it stayed for a few years.

I think at least one fairly recent previous owner, and one a bit longer ago must have been a club member as it has a new looking MMOC window sticker in very good condition, and came with a fairly beaten up MMOC grill badge.
