Advice needed please, earlier this year I acquired a 1969 Minor100,didn't intend to but now starting to sort out work needed.
Not too bad underneath but front rear spring hangars and a couple of other bits need welding work so want to roll over onto side with minimum strip down of main parts. Any information as to where and best type of rollover jig to hire or purchase would be greatly appreciated.

I would have thought that the disadvantage of a rollover jig was that you WOULD have to dismantle the car fairly thoroughly and drain all fluids etc and that if you DON'T want to do that, it would be better to raise the car, as complete as possible, into the air to tackle welding repairs.
To me, a rollover jig would only make sense if you were working on a fully stripped out car. It would then be a boon

You can always do it the old fashioned way - several tyres on the ground and with a few mates tip the car on its side.
Which ever way you do it you do need to drain the fluids - that is oils and coolant.

Hi, I looked into this recently - CJ autos Heywood do a roll over jig that you can leave the engine etc in...seems to be popular. Rolls car onto it's side.
There's another company that do similar as a home welded kit...don't recommend this unless you're a pro welder
Then there are rotisserie jigs where you're going to remove a lot...this is the road I've gone down, Ade Foreman Light Engineering on eBay in my case. This was a kit but all bolted.
