Do these wires all attach within the rear light cluster (so that if I remove the cluster the wires all come out with it)?

The black wire is exposed outside of the bullet connector, which may mean in the future it will require working on, so having just had to solder one in-situ on the main loom, I'm wanting to know if it (being the shortest, hardest to get at connector) can be done outside of the car.

Thanks :)

That is what I would expect to see. The red wire is the supply to the tail light. The green wire with the red tracer supplys the indicator light. The green light with the purple tracer is the supply to the brake light. The black wire is the earth, so should indeed contact the car bodywork. Without that, the lights will probably not function correctly.

If you haven't already, get yourself a proper workshop manual and some sort of 12volt test device. The wiring on a Minor is very simple and all colour coded, so can easily be followed :)

Thanks, I just wanted to check they wired direct to the lamp and there wasn't some form of holder or additional connection point between them and the lamp.
