Front inner wing replacement

Post by southerly95 »

How is the top section of the front inner wing connected to the metalwork that forms a channel in effect for the lower bonnet edge to fit into. I’ve yet to find clear pics of this joint, many thanks, John

The channel is an integral part of the inner wing panel. An 1.5 inch return on the panel forms two sides of the channel with the wing forming the other side. This can be more clearly seen if you zoom in to the other pictures in the ESM page.
