For 1966 a single Lucas 9H low. I think export cars had twin Lucas 9H low and high or at least the wiring for a second horn. Looking at your photo I don't think any of those horns are Lucas 9H although the right hand horn of the left hand pair looks similar to a 9H but does not have the twin blade terminals.

If you're looking for accuracy of equipment for a particular year, I suggest your best bet is to find a copy of AKD3541 online and then you can readily cross check part numbers to Car numbers.Moggie shed full wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 8:19 am Does anyone know what type of horn mechanism was fitted in 1966 minors? I don't think Stephen is correct about it being a single Low Note.
The AKD3541 appears to show that after Sep 62, when the S5 came out, it was a single High Note. Which later changed (perhaps late '63) to a different High Note.

Berni is correct. Lucas 9H high for the Series 5. See below for the car numbers.
