So sorry you had such a poor turnout,
George.
I guess many of the 'Classics' were deterred by the weather, as it seemed many of the general public were. They only sell something like 5,500 tickets, which is a comfortable crowd for the size of the place. Booking to take a Classic has 2 advantages, the driver gets a half price entry and your car is 'right there' rather than being 5-10 minutes walk to the main car parks, giving the convenience of access to chairs, picnic or whatever else you've taken with you. We've been on 3 previous shows and had a great time.
Unfortunately yesterday was just a terrible day for it; today's weather is blue skys with just a little high cloud
I went to drop my mower to be repaired today in Chesham and took it in my Morris van and when I left there was a white Morris Traveller following me towards Chesham.
On Saturday I went to a coffee and cars at the Frost Restorations warehouse near Culcheth ( a dangerously expensive place to wander around ) where I spotted this traveller among the other cars
I was in the Mini
It's first outing since it was MOT'd in January, nice day for a run in the sun with the roof open.
Many other nice cars too
My mate Bernie's Super Minx convertible
Granted, not the best photo, but a really nice looking saloon in a mushroom colour I didn’t recognise in Icklesham, East Sussex last night! Reg was YAS something!
Yesterday at Kop Hill climb in Buckinghamshire, several Minors attending. Photos below. Many elderly and exotic vehicles to look at. A fantastic event as usual - only dampened by the rain during the afternoon.

I was driving just out of Chesham going towards Great Missenden this afternoon a road I've used loads of times even on Saturday when I just happened to look left and there was three Morris Minor saloons in a field and looked as if they have been there a while. There one of two other cars one was a Mini. They must have cut some of the hedging back because I would have seen them before

Assuming this it the right place I've found, literally on the edge of Chesham..... Winding the clock back on Google Earth to a time of year with less foliage, there seems to be a few vehicles in the field...
That looks like the place as the little red one is the Mini. They must have cleared some of the hedging as normally you can't see the field even in winter and I would have seen them.
