How do you adjust the bonnet.
Mine has started to stick in the middle.
Which part of the hinges need to be moved.

Re: Bonnet adjustment
The only adjustment is on the hinges; when you say 'stick in the middle', do you mean the rear edge is rubbing on the body?
Do you mean it's catching on the front somewhere?

Re: Bonnet adjustment
There is a certain amount of adjustment where the hinges are fitted to the bulkhead AND where they are fitted to the bonnet. Also, the bonnet catch itself can be adjusted up and down where it is attached to the bonnet itself. Open the bonnet and look up inside it at the catch. You have to remove the bull motif bonnet badge to gain access to the adjustment.

The term
may or may not just mean the catch needs lubrication...started to stick in the middle

Re: Bonnet adjustment
How's the clearance around the rest, e.g. along the sides.?
How even is the gap along the rear edge and down the sides?
It might give you a clue as to which way it has shifted, assuming a slight shift is what has occurred.
Is it opening and closing OK, or has the catch got any harder to pull open?
It may be a slightly loose nut on a hinge; I take it you've not had the bonnet off in the past few years, where you might not have fully tightened it all back up?

Re: Bonnet adjustment
might also be worth checking the internal bracing, this has a habit of cracking at the sides which allows the bonnet to spread a littke and sag in the middle.
