I guess this has been asked before, but.....
I want to fit a hazard warning light setup.
I am reasonably competent with electronics/electrics so I am pretty confident I could lash up a solution using 555 timers switches and relays etc.
But....I don't wish to reinvent the wheel so if someone has a solution I would be very interested. Vehicle is POSITIVE earth, this inevitably limits the possibilities I guess.

Re: Hazard indicators
Just change the earth to negative which is an easy task even with a dynamo and then you can fit one of the kits below

Re: Hazard indicators
They also have a kit suitable for either polarity. https://www.morrisminorspares.com/elect ... s-p1238968philthehill wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2023 1:02 pm Just change the earth to negative which is an easy task even with a dynamo and then you can fit one of the kits below

I can only assume the other kit includes an electronic flasher unit, thus making it polarity sensitive.
This one on ebay claims to include instructions for changing the unit to work on Pos Earth :

There's plenty of choice out there and it's not difficult to fit, far easier than lashing something up with various relays.
