I’m looking for a new hood for my convertible. Though I only ever see the standard colours like white, tan, maroon etc.
But I came across a car for sale which had a pearl grey canvas roof on it which looked really good. Does anyone know where I can purchase a colour like that? Thanks

Re: Convertible hood
I think that would be a custom job from one of the vehicle upholstery specialists. For a price I am sure a vehicle upholsterer could make a hood for you in almost any colour you like.

Re: Convertible hood
Pearl Grey was listed as the original hood colour of my convertible, so it is a standard colour. As such I'd expect it to be still readily available now? It is very light - an off white really.

I’ll have to do some more research then if it was a standard colour option. I think the pear grey looks nice on a blue car which mine is. The off white gets dirty easily & I’m personally not a fan of the brown tan colour. Or I could go all out & put a maroon top on it & change the interior colour to match

Mine is a light blue car “Smoke Grey” and originally it had an off white vinyl hood. When that fell to pieces I went for black mohair. That has lasted 3 decades but is due for replacement.MoggyMatilda wrote: ↑Sun Jul 30, 2023 2:35 pm I’ll have to do some more research then if it was a standard colour option.
