Hilarious!

Post by myoldjalopy »

Last week I went to a supermarket in my SII. As I entered the store, an employee came up to me and said he had seen me enter the car park and how wonderful my car was. He was only about 20 years old and, from his accent, I identified him as Italian. I said "Thank you, but do you know what type of car it is?" "I'm not sure" he replied, adding "Let me think about it. Come to till number one when you have finished your shopping and I will tell you my answer".

When I arrived at his till, he said "I could not get a good look at your car as someone else parked in front of it, so I'm not sure but..............is it a Rolls Royce?" :o

I had to laugh and told him I couldn't afford a Rolls Royce and that it was merely a humble Morris Minor.......absolutely crazy!

I wish mine was a 1920’s Rolls Royce Phantom tourer. 7,668cc vs 1098
1969 1098cc Convertible “Xavier” which I have owned since 1989.

Ha Ha! However, I can assure you it was not - the story would have been even better if it had been!
