paint colour
Hi everyone, I'm a new member , and I thought I would introduce myself. I live close to the Suffolk coast, and I've just taken delivery of a 1962 1000 saloon. It's a project, not for me, as I'm far too old and can just about change a wheel. The bodywork is virtually rust free, though I wish I could say the same about the underside! Why is it that so many of the colour shades are so similar. I can't decide whether the colour of mine is Dove Grey or Old English White, as they look so similar in the many pics i've viewed. I guess I'll have to wait for the Heritage certificate to arrive to find out. Cheers, Mike.
Re: paint colour
The paint is dove grey on this one, but the below wheels are old english white if that helps

Re: paint colour
Odd wheels, rims usually either riveted or spot welded?
Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!
