New Owner, finally
(A new thread from my original in the young owner's section)
Just got back from viewing a car... which I've decided to purchase! I've attached some photos of it. I'm officially a Morris Minor Owner
The car is a 1964 2 door saloon in old english white. I'll be the third owner from new, and the car has 41,000 original miles. It's been upgraded with an alternator, electric fuel pump, radio, better seats, electric screen wash pump, seatbelts and a heated rear windscreen. It's also got new brakes, tyres, hubcaps, sill covers, heater core tap, fuel filter, spark plugs, points, spark leads, window rubbers all round, air filter and oil filter, in additioon to a very sound body and 4 new wings. THe owner also has a 2 spoke steering wheel, the BMC manual and original toolkit which are included. The car has been well looked after, and I intend to keep it that way, even though it'll be my daily driver.
If anyone has any name ideas, do let me know

Name wise, have a think about what names mean something to you. I’ve looked to TV shows, historical figures and music for previous car names.

Congratulations. Great car. I do hope you have a lot of fun together.
Any name you like really. I have had only 2 minors but the current one for 33 years. I just used the letters of the registration number to give me an idea. My first Minor was HLH so I called that one Helen and the current one is XPK so that is Xavier. Looks like your registration begins with P. Penelope? Percy?

Thank you for the kind words John and svenedin, can't wait to get driving! Good suggestions with the names too, Percy might have a nice ring to it, who knows...

Penny is a nice old name if you’d prefer a female name and decide to go with the registration letter thing.
