2 x 803 rear axle casings

Post by jagnut66 »

Hi,
I have 2 x 803 rear axle casings that have sat around for a few years now. In that time they have acquired some surface rust and I believe one of them wants a couple of minor repairs to it.
However, if someone wants / needs them I believe they would clean up / restore.
If someone does they can have them for FREE.
They would just need to be collected from Mansfield in Notts.
If not they will be going to the scrap man, as they are now in the way.
Best wishes,
Mike.

PS: I have posted this in 'General' so anyone interested can reply, I don't think you can reply to adverts in the 'Items for sale' section, or is that just cars?

1970 Triumph Herald 1200: "Hetty" -- Driven back from Llangollen in Wales (twice.....)
1952 Morris Minor MM highlight with sidevalve engine still fitted, wants work, so joins the queue for now......

I think that it's only the cars for sale section that you cannot reply to an advert. Should be fine in the parts for sale section Mike.

Yes one of the quirks of the forum, I understand the ability to respond to a vehicle for sale post was withheld because someone was upset by a response. :o. I doubt it happened often but there you go.

Noted for next time, although technically they're not for sale, they're offered as freebee's. :D

Anyway I won't leave this up too long, as if there's no interest then the scrapman will have them.
Shame but there you go.....
Best wishes,
Mike.
