Insurance

Post by les »

I know we all have different situations regarding insurance, hence different prices. However I’ve been a good boy with NCB etc, been driving for years, garaged van overnight agreed value. This year it’s increased £70 to £235, I think the company are trying it on. No need to talk money, just wondering if others are experiencing the same treatment.

That's ridiculous. I renewed mine today and got a small (6.5%) increase plus a discount which brought the figure down overall. Time to look elsewhere I think.

For my modern car it's gone down about £30.

I thought the fact that there were fewer driving and therefore fewer claims made during lockdowns meant that generally speaking car insurance was going to go down.

For my other car, they tried it on, and when I phoned them and told them I was leaving, they took it down by about 1/3, and fixed it for 3 years.

That seems very expensive Les! Shop around.
